Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre (born 18 May 1987) is an Argentine actress, singer and model. She is perhaps the best known for her roles in television series Chiquititas, Rebelde Way and Casados con Hijos, and as a former member of musical group Erreway.

Acting :
Lopilato, who lists Andrea Del Boca among her career influences, debuted in an episode role in television series Mi familia es un dibujo, in 1995. In 1999 she was chosen to play Luisana Maza in Chiquititas, the popular television series created by Cris Morena; Lopilato also reprise her role in the Chiquititas film Chiquititas: Rincón de Luz in 2001. She also appeared in 2000 film Un Amor en Moises Ville. Lopilato starred as Mía Colucci in 2002—03 television series Rebelde Way, created by Morena, and also began her career as a musician, in a group named Erreway. Erreway also launched a CD that earned Lopilato a golden album award in Argentina. In 2004 she reprised her role of Mía Colucci in Erreway: 4 Caminos.
Thanks to her role in Rebelde Way, Lopilato was gained great popularity in Latin America, Spain and Israel. She received several subsequent acting offers and ended up signing with Pol-Ka Productions, with which she did two telenovelas, Los Secretos de Papá and Los Pensionados. In 2005 Lopilato appeared in Casados con Hijos, an Argentine version of Married... With Children. She portrayed Paola Argento, a character originally portrayed by Christina Applegate. Casados con Hijos earned two Martín Fierro Awards for Best Comedy, and Lopilato herself was nominated for Martín Fierro Award for Best Supporting Actress. She once again worked with Cris Morena on Alma Pirata, starring alongside Benjamín Rojas, Mariano Martínez and Nicolas Vázquez.
In 2007, Lopilato was host of Los Premios MTV Latinoamérica, Latin MTV Awards, with former Miss Columbia Valerie Domínguez. She was also nominated for an ACE Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in a threatre play Arlequín, and appeared in Martín Fierro Award—nominated television comedy El Capo. Gente magazine named Lopilato "the Face of the Year". Lopilato starred alongside Rodrigo González and Sabrina Garciarena in 2008 telenovela Encandilados, made especially for cell-phones] She also starred with Rodrigo Guirao Díaz in a theatre play La Cenicienta, and appeared in the animated film Plumíferos, which will be released in 2009.
Lopilato is currently starring alongside Gabriel Goity, Rodrigo Guirao Díaz, her Rebelde Way co-star and former Erreway fellow Camila Bordonaba, Elías Viñoles and her brother Darío in the series Atracción x4. She is also working on her new film, Papá por un Día.

Music :
During the development of Rebelde Way in 2002, Lopilato became a member of the band Erreway, consisting of Rebelde Way protagonists Lopilato, Camila Bordonaba, Felipe Colombo and Benjamín Rojas. They recorded three studio albums, Señales, Tiempo and Memoria; made a film Erreway: 4 Caminos, and had three very successful tours — Erreway en Grand Rex, Nuestro Tiempo and Gira 2004. In 2007 it was announced that Lopilato had left Erreway, and that Bordonaba, Colombo and Rojas would have a tour in Spain as a trio. It was also confirmed that Lopilato would record a solo album, and that she had signed with Universal Music Group.

Modeling :
During her time in Rebelde Way, Lopilato was gained great popularity and was featured in more than 50 magazine covers. She was promoter of many brands alongside her Erreway fellows Camila Bordonaba, Felipe Colombo and Benjamín Rojas, including Bobaloo chewing gums, McDonald's and Coca Cola. In 2006 she has signed a deal with 47 Street fashion house, and did the first campaign with Bordonaba and Rojas.
Other brands that feature Lopilato include Coca Cola, Muy Keff cosmetics, Axe deodorants, Promesse, Gottex and Gillette. In April 2008 she was one of the lead models, alongside Soledad Solaro and María Del Cerro at the fashion show of John Foos.

Personal life :
Lopilato is a native Buenos Aires. She was born to Eduardo and Betty Lopilato, and has two siblings, Darío and Daniela. Lopilato cited singer Luis Miguel her idol and River Plate her favourite football club.
Lopilato used to date her Chiquititas fellow Felipe Colombo for five years; they announced the split in 2002. However, a video shown in the television show Instrusos en la noche confirmed they remained a couple. Lopilato's lawyers sued Jorge Rial, the host of Instrusos en la noche, gaining her USD3,000,000. After the publication of this video, Lopilato and Colombo broke up indeed. She was later engaged to her Alma Pirata fellow Mariano Martínez, and tennis player Juan Mónaco. As of May 2009, Lopilato is dating Canadian singer Michael Bublé, who she met at a concert in Buenos Aires[28]; they were captured together at the BMI Pop Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, California.
